This polish is entirely holo glitter. There is no linear or scattered effect added to it. I wouldn't necessarily categorize this polish as a topper, as it requires a very light touch to use as such. It's best built up to opaqueness. But if you have this polish, you can definitely try it out as a topper too. This one does not have a graying effect as it doesn't have the fine holo particles. I liked this one best over the sea foam green, but it played well with all of the colors.
